From Legion to Library

The Isabel and Roy Jodrey opened officially on September 23, 2015. The building was formerly the Lucknow Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. (Updated Sept. 27)

THE SIGN -  several books supported by anchors reflecting the hamlet's shipbuilding past.
Host Shirley Pineo, Annapolis Valley Regional Library Chair. The book deposit box (BACK RIGHT) was donated by the Windsor Rotary Club in memory of long time Rotarian and Hantsport resident Bill Mulhall.

Susan Oickle-Shano, Chair of the Friends of the Hantsport Public Library. She 
was the Chair of the Save the Hantsport Library Fundraising Campaign.

Harold Bulger, Chair of the Library Advisory Committee, was also present.

Heidi Maxner led the singing of O Canada.
